Post Impact: Heretic is a visual novel in the works, set around 65 years after Heaven's collapse. The story follows a young member of an extremist religious order who begins to stray away from their ideoligies after becominng abnormally infected with a disease thought of to only affect heretics.

A large religious faction that views Heaven's collapse as an invitation to colonise and build their own perfect world from the rubble. Confluence members are taught from an early age to not feel sympathy for any non-human beings. This includes angels, overseers and especially Humans infected with ROT, as The Confluence claims that as long as you are loyal to the Confluence you are immune – therefore those who are infected are seen as Heretics.

S.O.C.C (Study of Cataclysmic Collapse), is a post-impact of heaven branch of S.O.R, a scientific govermennt funded group that studied the border between Heaven and Earth. Post Impact, S.O.C.C focused on retaining resources, rebuilding society and genetically creating living cures for ROT using the DNA of Overseers.

Overseer's are manifestations of humanities evil's and malicious desires that were birthed into Heaven as an interpretation of humanity. While being extremely dangerous they also carry a strain of ROT which grants them immunity, attracting the attention of S.O.C.C; leading to the developments of hybrids.

Angels are a branch of humanity that were exposed to the disease known as ROT thousands of years ago up in Heaven. they underwent an accelerated phase of evolution as ROT only affected those whom could not control their emotional distress, leading to those unable to manage their emotions dying off.
